Terms and Conditions
Mariné Bicicletes rents bicycles that are reserved or hired directly. The rental period is 24 hours. If an additional 24 hours are needed, you must notify the company 2 days in advance and pay an additional fee.
1- By making a reservation on our website, the renter will pay 100% of the full rental period. If you have any questions about our services, you can contact us to make a reservation at info@marinebicicletes.cat or by calling +34 977 361 739.
2- When the renter, the object of the rental contract, picks up the bicycle, he/she must present an official identification with a photograph (DNI, Passport, Driving License or NIE), otherwise the contract cannot be formalized. He/she must also present a debit or credit card to pay the security deposit (100 € per bicycle). The person who signs the rental contract must be over 18 years old and is responsible for all the equipment rented under the contract.
3- If a cancellation is made 30 days before the first rental day, a full refund of the 100% deposit will be made for the reservation. If the cancellation is made between 29 days and 10 days before the first rental day, a 50% refund of the amount paid for the reservation will be made. If the cancellation is made within 10 days before the first rental day, no refund will be made.
4- If the bicycle is returned before the end of the current rental contract for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund of any rental amount.
5- When the bicycle is returned after the time of the rental contract, an additional fraction will be charged or in case the lessee wants to extend or keep the rental for longer than the contracted time, he must inform two days before the end of the contract so that Mariné Bicicletes can inform him of the possibility of extending or not the contract and proceed to the advance payment of the additional difference for the extra days.
6- The bicycles and the contracted equipment are the property of Mariné Bicicletes and must be collected and returned to our premises in Cambrils or Tarragona.
7- The renter is obliged to make good use of the bicycle and its equipment. The bicycle must be returned clean and in perfect working order or charges may be made. The renter must inform Mariné Bicicletas of any breakage or theft of vehicles or material and the renter will be responsible for the cost of repair or, in the case of theft, will pay the market value, using the credit card. The bicycle will be delivered in perfect condition by Mariné Bicicletas to the renter and in the event of any damage, this will be noted in the rental contract and the client will be informed during the processing of the same. The renter will not be responsible for damage or deterioration due to normal use of the bicycle. It is advisable to always keep the bicycles in sight to avoid theft.
8- The tenant is responsible for complying with all traffic laws in force in Spain.
9- It is recommended that you always carry identification documents and a mobile phone. It is also advisable to have accident insurance during the trip.
10- The tenant is responsible for all damages that occur either to himself or any other person within the rental period, Mariné Bicicletes does not accept responsibility for any third party claims in relation to accidents, injuries, blows or damages caused by the tenant or to his property or loss of objects for any reason.
